Our 20 Best-Selling Palestine Designs, Explained and Styled

Which Palestine designs do people actually wear? We went through our US Best Sellers collection, pulled out the top 20 and wrote a short note on each one: what the design shows, what the symbol means and a few ideas for how to style it this fall.

How the list works

The ranking follows our Best Sellers collection. We capped each design at two products so the list doesn't turn into ten versions of the same shirt, skipped kids' items and anything currently unavailable, and filled the last three spots with the next best sellers in the shop.

The top 20

1. Free Palestine Men's Classic Tee

The first design on our list is also our simplest: FRE in bold black letters, a small Palestinian flag finishing the word and Palestine spelled out in thin, wide-spaced type underneath. The classic tee is a heavier cotton with a structured fit, and the kelly green version echoes the green stripe of the flag. Wear it with light-wash jeans, white sneakers and a ball cap for an easy everyday look.

2. No Justice No Peace Women's Racerback Tank

NO JUSTICE / NO PEACE stacked in two lines, the NOs picked out in green and red, above the FRE-and-flag logo. The chant is closely associated with protests in New York City in the 1980s and has been taken up by many movements since. On an athletic racerback tank it's made for the gym, a run or a hot day at a rally; layer it under an open flannel when the weather turns.

3. Palestine Flag Cuffed Beanie

A soft knit beanie with the Palestinian flag embroidered on the cuff. The four colors trace back to the Arab Revolt of 1916, and the flag has been the national symbol of Palestine for decades. The embroidery gives it a clean, finished look. Olive or black pairs with just about any winter coat: think puffer jacket, jeans and boots.

4. Free Palestine Men's T-Shirt

The same FRE-and-flag design on our lighter, softer everyday tee with a little stretch. It's the one to grab when you want a slimmer fit or plan to layer. Try it under an unbuttoned overshirt or a denim jacket with chinos, or wear it on its own with shorts during an early-fall heat wave.

5. Palestine Flag Car Magnet

The flag on a 7.5 x 4.5 inch vinyl car magnet. There's no adhesive, so it comes off cleanly whenever you want and can move from one car to the next. It's weather-resistant enough for highway miles and snowy winters; just place it on a flat steel panel and take it off before you hit the car wash.

6. End the Occupation Now! Women's Relaxed T-Shirt

Three lines of heavy black capitals: END THE / OCCUPATION / NOW! It's one of the most direct designs we make, and it means exactly what it says: a call to end the occupation of Palestinian land. The relaxed women's cut has a looser, boxy drape. Heather gray makes the type pop; try a half-tuck into straight jeans with a leather belt and sneakers.

7. Palestine Hand Men's Hoodie

A raised fist in the colors of the flag, breaking out of white chains. The clenched fist has stood for unity and solidarity in movements around the world, and the broken chains turn it into an image of freedom. On a black hoodie the colors really glow. Wear it with black joggers and high-top sneakers, or under a denim trucker jacket.

8. Speak Out Against Genocide Short Sleeve T-Shirt

SPEAK OUT AGAINST GENOCIDE in bold, widely spaced black capitals. The message is about refusing to stay silent, and it's sized to be read across a street or a crowded room. The fitted tee in bright red is the loudest shirt on this list, so balance it with black jeans and a black bomber jacket.

9. Triangle Watermelon Short Sleeve T-Shirt

A triangle slice of watermelon, rind on top and seeds scattered through the red. Because the fruit shares the flag's colors, it became a popular substitute for the flag itself. One often-repeated story, hard to verify in every detail, says Israeli officials warned Ramallah artists in 1980 not to use the flag's colors, even in a watermelon. On a black fitted tee, it looks great with olive cargo pants and a trucker jacket.

10. No Justice No Peace Tough Case for iPhone

The No Justice No Peace design on a dual-layer tough case for iPhone. The white case keeps the green, red and black lettering crisp, and the tough shell takes the everyday drops. Your phone is in your hand all day, which makes this one of the easiest ways to carry a message. It pairs well with a plain black or tan crossbody bag.

11. Palestine Garden Flag

A vertical garden flag in the four colors: a red triangle across the top, then green, white and black bands. Hung from a garden flag stand or a porch bracket, it brings the colors to your front yard, balcony or window. It's made of weather-resistant polyester and measures 12 x 17 inches, a size that fits most standard garden flag stands.

12. Palestine Heart Short Sleeve T-Shirt

One heart filled with the flag, no text. It's the gentlest design on the list and a great first piece for anyone who'd rather wear a symbol than a slogan. Royal blue is a strong background for the black, white, green and red; wear it with white jeans or khakis and clean sneakers.

13. Palestine Hand Men's Eco Raglan Hoodie

The raised fist on our eco raglan hoodie, with an organic cotton face, a brushed lining and raglan sleeves that give it a sporty shape. It's the warmer, softer option of the two Hand pieces here. Pair the black version with gray sweatpants for the weekend, or with dark jeans and a wool coat for a day in the city.

14. Japanese Exclusive Free Palestine Short Sleeve T-Shirt

A small Palestinian flag next to lines of Japanese and English text: Palestine Solidarity, Free Palestine, No Justice No Peace and a call to withdraw from the occupied territories. It's a reminder that solidarity with Palestine speaks many languages. The mint tee makes the red and green text stand out; keep everything else neutral with khaki pants and white sneakers.

15. I Love Gaza Women's Eco Raglan Hoodie

I, a red heart and GAZA inside a thin black frame, a nod to the classic city-slogan layout. Gaza is one of the oldest cities in the world, a Mediterranean port with thousands of years of history, and this design is a simple way to say you care about it and its people. On a white eco hoodie, wear it with wide-leg jeans and a long puffer coat.

16. Triangle Watermelon Men's Eco Raglan Hoodie

The triangle watermelon again, this time on the eco raglan hoodie. On black, the green rind and red flesh look almost graphic, which makes it an easy match with camo, olive or gray. For fall, layer it under a quilted vest or a canvas chore coat.

17. Palestine Hope Tote Bag

The Palestine Hope artwork, a poster-style portrait of a young woman in a keffiyeh and red scarf gazing upward, printed across a sturdy everyday tote. The keffiyeh pattern is often said to stand for fishing nets, olive leaves and trade routes, though those readings come from tradition rather than written record. The bag holds up to 44 pounds, so it handles groceries, a laptop or a stack of library books.

18. Palestine Hero Women's Relaxed T-Shirt

A torn opening in the middle of the shirt with the flag showing through, drawn in bold black lines like a comic-book hero revealing the costume underneath. It's playful and serious at the same time. The relaxed women's cut in white works with a leather jacket and black jeans, or tucked into a denim skirt.

19. Exist. Resist. Return. Men's Classic Tee

EXIST in green, RESIST in black and RETURN in red, above the FRE-and-flag logo. The three words sum up ideas that run through Palestinian writing and life: staying on the land, standing firm and the right of refugees to return home. On a charcoal classic tee the colors hold up well; wear it with a black denim jacket and boots.

20. Palestine Map Men's T-Shirt

The map of Palestine in sunset stripes, from deep red down to warm yellow, with a small figure raising a flag and PALESTINE with #PRAYFORGAZA underneath. It's a design about home and memory rather than a slogan. On charcoal heather the warm colors look like a real sunset; wear it with an olive overshirt and tan chinos.

How to mix and match

Pair a message with a symbol: a No Justice No Peace tank with the flag beanie, or the Exist. Resist. Return. tee with a Palestine Hope tote. Let one bold piece lead the outfit and keep the rest neutral. And for fall, build in layers, a lightweight tee under an eco hoodie under a jacket, so the design still shows when you take your coat off.

FAQ

How did you pick these 20 designs?

We used the order of our Best Sellers collection, capped each design at two products and skipped kids' items and anything currently unavailable. The last three spots went to the next best sellers in the shop.

What's the difference between the classic tee and the regular t-shirt?

The classic tee is a heavier 100% cotton shirt with a structured, boxier fit. The regular t-shirt is lighter and softer, made from combed ring-spun cotton with a bit of stretch.

Why is the watermelon a symbol of Palestine?

When you cut a watermelon, you see red, green, white and black, the same colors as the Palestinian flag. That's why artists and protesters have used it as a stand-in for the flag for decades.

What does Exist, Resist, Return mean?

It sums up three ideas: Palestinians staying on their land, standing firm under pressure and the right of refugees to return to their homes.

Where can I see every product for a design?

Our Shop by Design page groups all products by design, so you can find the same motif on tees, hoodies, totes and accessories.
